Terms of Service

1. Who these terms are with

These terms are between you and Boltout LLC dba MySelfIdentity.

2. What the service is

MySelfIdentity lets you search approved public sources about yourself, review possible matches, and keep a private self-audit report. MySelfIdentity is not a consumer reporting agency and is not a background check, credit check, criminal-records check or tenant-screening product.

3. Permitted use

You may search only for yourself, or for a person who has given you written permission. You may not use any report for employment, tenancy, credit, insurance, education or any other eligibility decision, and you may not use the service to stalk, harass, intimidate, threaten, dox or locate a person. 4. Accounts and security

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for activity under your account.

5. Operator

MySelfIdentity is operated by Boltout LLC dba MySelfIdentity, a limited liability company organized under the laws of the State of Delaware, with a registered business address at 1309 Coffeen Avenue, STE 1200, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States.

6. Plans

The price, billing period, trial terms (if any) and reports included in each plan are shown on the plan card and on the checkout page before you commit. The terms shown at checkout at the time you subscribe apply to your subscription.

Basic is a subscription of $14 per month or $140 per year that includes 1 report every month; unused reports expire at the end of each month. Annual plans receive their monthly reports month by month.

Premium is a subscription of $21 per month or $210 per year that includes 5 reports every month; unused reports expire at the end of each month. Searches are not metered; only completed reports count. Annual plans receive their monthly reports month by month.

Prices exclude tax. Where tax applies it is calculated and shown at checkout and added on top of the price.

7. Free trial

Basic starts with a 3-day free trial that includes 1 report. A payment method is required to start the trial. Nothing is charged during the trial. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription starts automatically when the trial ends and $14 (monthly) or $140 (annual) is charged to your payment method. We email you a reminder within 24 hours of starting the trial. One trial per person.

8. Automatic renewal

Basic: after the trial, we charge $14 per month or $140 per year at the start of each billing period until you cancel.

Premium: we charge $21 per month or $210 per year at the start of each billing period until you cancel.

Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period at the price shown in your dashboard.

9. One-time purchases

Extra reports and the Deep Audit are one-time purchases offered inside your dashboard. Their price is shown in full before you buy, they are never added to a plan checkout by default, and they do not renew.

10. Cancellation

You can cancel at any time from your dashboard in a few clicks. If you cancel during a trial, you will not be charged. If you cancel after a subscription charge, cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and you keep access until then.

11. Refunds

Full refund within 7 days of your first charge if no report has been generated on the account.

A technical failure on our side that prevents a report from completing is always refunded (or the report credit returned).

Once a report has been generated in a billing period, that period is not refundable. See the Refund Policy.

12. Price changes

We may change subscription prices. We will notify you by email at least 30 days before a new price applies to your subscription, and the new price takes effect from your next billing period after that notice. If you do not agree, cancel before then and you will not be charged the new price.

13. Failed payments

If a charge fails, we may retry it and may pause access to paid features until payment succeeds.

14. Using reports

One report is used when a self-audit starts. Reports are recorded in the credit ledger shown in your dashboard.

15. Additional reports

Additional reports beyond your monthly allowance are sold one at a time from your dashboard at the price shown before you confirm. Purchased extra reports do not expire with the month.

16. No cash value

Reports have no cash value, are not transferable, and cannot be exchanged for money. Reports are granted each month and unused reports expire at the end of that month.

17. Failed jobs

If a self-audit fails for a technical reason on our side, the report used for that job is returned to your ledger.

18. Refund eligibility

. In summary, we refund charges caused by a technical failure on our side, duplicate charges, and charges made after a valid cancellation. We do not refund because a report returned few or no public results, since results depend on what is publicly available.

19. Accuracy and no completeness guarantee

Reports reflect what the listed sources returned at the time of retrieval. We do not guarantee completeness or accuracy, and absence of a result does not mean nothing exists.

20. Intellectual property

The service, its design and its software are ours. Your report content is yours to export or delete.

21. Third-party sources and services

Reports are compiled by querying public search engines and public APIs for publicly available results, as listed in our source registry. Results link to third-party publishers who control their own content. We do not promise removal of third-party content, and a source that is unavailable at the time of your scan is shown as such in your report.

22. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The service is provided as-is to the fullest extent permitted by law.

23. Indemnity

You will indemnify us against claims arising from your misuse of the service or any report.

24. Termination

We may suspend or close accounts that breach the Acceptable Use Policy. You may close your account at any time from settings, which deletes your reports and files.

25. Changes to these terms

We will post changes here and, for material changes, notify you by email.

26. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
