Questions
- How does the free trial work?
- Basic starts with a 3-day free trial that includes your first report. We ask for a card so the plan can continue afterwards; nothing is charged if you cancel before the trial ends, and we email you a reminder within the first day.
- What is a report?
- One full self-audit: the search, your review, the five-category report, the AI summary and the PDF. Basic includes one a month, Premium five. Unused reports expire at the end of the month so the allowance stays predictable.
- What does "unlimited searches" on Premium mean?
- Premium customers can run the search step as often as they like; only completed reports count against the monthly allowance.
- Can I buy more reports?
- Yes. Extra reports are $7 each, one-time, from your dashboard. A one-time Deep Audit is also offered inside the dashboard; it is optional and never added to a checkout by default.
- What if the report finds very little?
- A thin public footprint is a legitimate and often reassuring result. The Public Sources table shows exactly which sources were queried and what each returned.
- Can I cancel?
- Yes, from your dashboard at any time. Cancelling stops future renewals; reports you already generated stay in your dashboard until you delete them.
- What about refunds?
- Full refund within 7 days of your first charge if no report has been generated. A technical failure on our side is always refunded. Once a report has been generated in the period, that period is not refundable.
- Is Premium a background check?
- No. Premium is a deeper self-audit. It is still prohibited to use any MySelfIdentity report for employment, tenancy, credit, or other eligibility decisions.
